Review of Mendoza’s small-group luxury wine tour, with premium tastings, gourmet lunch, mountain views, guides, transport, and value advice.

“This experience, provided by Tout and Wine, was spectacular. We visited three wineries where tastings and tours were provided. At our last winery, we were treated to a wonderful gourmet lunch that impressed all. Our guide Monserrat and driver were very kind and accommodating. We also appreciated the ability to purchase wine from the different wineries, create a custom box, and ship back to our address in the states. Would recommend to all.”

Spend a full day near Buenos Aires with gauchos, horseback riding, asado, music, dancing, and hotel pickup to San Antonio de Areco.

“This Gaucho tour was so fun and I can definitely recommend. We starting off by stopping in the local town for 5 minutes to see how the town lives before heading off to the ranch. We first rode a horse, then had a tour of the ranch before having an amazing Aregentine BBQ lunch. All drinks were included so we had plenty of wine. The gauchos then performed a traditional dance for us and showed us how well they could tame their horse. Finally Hernan was the best guide we could have asked for. He was so friendly, loved telling stories and was always smiling and laughing. Keep it up…”

Review the 13-hour Salta tour to Purmamarca and Salinas Grandes, with practical tips on altitude, transport, costs, guides, and timing.

“The tour was good overall. The combi van that collected us was very small, and hard to fit the legs into the available space (even for average height people). But it had good air conditioning. The guide did a reasonable job - they provide some info along the way although more explanation and info would have been nice. Tour returned into Salta at approx 20:45.”

“I couldn’t keep myself from commenting on the bus — it was very impressive, it looked almost like a truck! It was also extremely comfortable. The lunch was rich and satisfying as well. Our guides were very polite, helpful, and happy to take photos of us. The driver was very friendly too. Overall, the tour was a good experience. The views were amazing! The only negative, in my opinion, is that it was very tiring. We made too many stops and were getting on and off the bus multiple times. Perhaps they could reduce the number of stops and adjust the schedule so that we could have some time to…”

“The tour guide Ximena and the driver Mario were both fantastic. The drive is beautiful and we found a lovely place to try local food and wines in Cafayate on our own. I wish there was a tour that made more stops and spent more time in the scenic places. This itinerary seems pretty typical but I think instead of trying to do a little bit of everything (scenic stops, wine tour, shopping) having more focused tours would be better, even though it’s still obviously a limited time and there’s only so much that’s possible on such a far day trip. I understand why people say to rent a car…”

“Kayak Santa Cruz did an amazing job organizing the entire excursion. Everything was seamless from the hotel pick up, transportation to the La Leona River, instructions for kayaking, giving everyone plenty of time to take in the view and take pictures during the hike, pointing out wild animals and explanation of the landscape, and final transfer back to the hotels. The guides also take pictures during the excursion and will send you a link to download after. Even if you are not experienced in kayaking, they will assist the entire way and is a great experience for anyone that wants a separate excursion from the glaciers. Highest praises for the…”

Review of the full-day Iguazu Falls tour from Puerto Iguazu, with trail details, costs, guide tips, timing, crowds, and booking advice.

“$50 per person for basically transportation from and to hotel and national park. A guide is not needed for this experience! You'll have to purchase entrance and boat experience tickets separately. Honestly, if you're able to coordinate transportation with your hotel, you don't need a guide to experience the falls. The park provides enough guidance for you to know where to go and what to do. We had to wait around a while for our driver to pick us up at the end of the tour. Also everyone does the trails at a different pace so it's best not to do this with a group. We were all done with…”
